"INSTALLATIONVIEW: Ryan McGinness" by Ryan McGinness, Jeffrey Deitch, AA Bronson, Carlo McCormick and Randy Gladman

This is one of the best books available for those interested in the works, processes, methods and ideas of contemporary artist Ryan McGinness.  With essays by art dealer Jeffrey Deitch, artist AA Bronson, and critics Carlo McCormick and Randy Gladman, this book provides a good history of Ryan McGinness’s works up to 2005 when it was published.  The entire book was laid out in full color by Ryan McGinness himself for Rizzoli New York and there are hundreds of high quality artwork reproductions.  Some of the most interesting aspects of this book are the reproductions of pages from McGinness’s sketch books that show how he develops visual ideas from raw ideas through to sketches and finally finished products.
